Media Buddy deals easily with batch conversions, which is great, but a batch conversion feature without an auto-shutdown option is missing some of the point. Add that to the fact that the only thing you can tweak in Media Buddy is the individual conversion profiles, and it feels a little inflexible, from a non-conversion point of view.

Despite these problems, Media Buddy's a nice program to use and will ensure that you get the most out of your media files. It's not sensational but at the same time is a much better bet than the very many very mediocre converters out there.

Good, but not great, Media Buddy is a very acceptable multi-format media converter.

Fans will love Civilization V's improvements and depth, and newcomers will soon get dragged into what can be an incredibly addictive title.

For all the improvements, compared to other PC strategy titles, the graphics are a bit weak, and the speech is terribly wooden. Enemy AI is also hardly improved, and makes bizarre decisions sometimes! More sensible opposition can, of course, be found in online multiplayer games.

Civilization V is the best of the series, but its slow pace and style don't feel very modern.

The program runs in the background and doesn't actually indicate when it's working or triggered but you will notice that files have been added to your iTunes library. It works basically as a background process although you can bring it into the foreground if you choose. Note that you'll need iTunes version 6 or above for iTunes Folder Watch to work correctly. In this trial version, some folder management features have been disabled and you are bugged by a nag screen to purchase an upgrade to the full version. The licence key that they give you also works with iTunes Album Browser so if you do upgrade, you're effectively getting two programs for one.

If iTunes is not managing your newly added music the way you wished it would, then you may find this program hits the spot.
